I enrolled in the Florida College of Natural Health at the age of 19. Even though I knew nothing about healing or bodywork I was certain that this was what I was supposed to do. Thus began the unfolding of my own healing and spiritual journeys which continues to deepen in new and unexpected ways 27 years later.
My bodywork and spiritual journeys are an evolving practice of skill, intuition and presence. My intention is to provide the support needed for you to strengthen your own healing resources and presence.
I received my certification in Advanced Massage Therapy from the Florida College of Natural Health in 1991, and have extensive experience in a myriad of bodywork and healing modalities including Energy Healing, Prenatal Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Somato-emotinal Release, and Therapeutic Bodywork. In addition, I am an Apprentice of Ke Ala Hoku Ancient Lomi Lomi under Jody Mountain in the linneage of Abraham Kawai’i, Aua’ia Maka’i’ole, ‘Uliama.
I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and the International Alliance of Health Care Practitioners, and am licensed to practice Massage Therapy in New York.
In addition to my dedication to facilitating wellness, I am a visual artist with a love for combining aesthetic creation with healing. I received my BA in Visual Arts from Columbia University, and create in a diverse array of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, and textile and jewelry design.
